Mary Donnelly Jackson has devoted more than 15 years of her career to volunteer management. Mary is currently the Program Coordinator of Recruiting, Training, and Placement for the Department of Volunteer Services, Division of Public Affairs at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. In this role, Mary recruits and trains a volunteer base of 1,600 volunteers, the largest hospital-based volunteer program in the nation.

Mary received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in public Relations from Texas A&M University.

Mary has experience volunteering in the community with Leadership Houston, Leadership Beaumont, Special Olympics, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Big Brother Big Sister, Trinity Family Alliance, Texas Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Museum, Ronald McDonald house, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
